I’m in self quarantine, or at least not going out to anywhere and keep myself locked in my room for… most of the time of the day since the 15th of March, 2020.
Long story short, I just came back that day from Vietnam therefore I’m distancing myself from my family.

Our Malaysian government has just announced and imposed a two weeks lockdown till the 31st of March, 2020. It is expected in my mind and it is a good measure to take - the sooner the better.
Oh, also made me use Grabfood for the first time here in Malaysia. Yes, my first time. Here. In my own country. Also due to the fried chicken promotion - it is difficult to resist.
New announcement has been made to extend our Movement Control Order (MCO) for another two more weeks, lasting till the 14th of April, 2020.
Flew my drone out a few times this week, and is still seeing lots of cars moving around. I don’t think this is supposed to be happening.
Also never seen our fridge is this empty, without leftover, and almost look clean.
The day I have to go out swiftly to try and get some bread - properly masked up of course. Though I failed to secure any ‘package’, I did notice there are a handful of humans still roaming outside, and the convenient stores were pretty packed. Unfortunately around 40% of the them out in the public were not wearing a mask.
Thank you to all who follow the order, helping yourself and all the others by practicing social distancing, to keep everyone safe.
On the other hand, there are significant number of police force that can be seen in every corner of the street. Hopefully they are there to help and advice people to stay-home.
And kudos to all our front-liners who are working tirelessly around the clock in the battle against SARS-CoV-2. 👏🏻.
I’m writing and uploading this on the 27th of March, 2020 - 10th day of lockdown here in Malaysia. Things are doing well here, everybody I know and keep in touch is healthy and doing very good. Though we must not look down and forget that the numbers of new infections and deaths are still on the rise every single day.
But I’ll say this too, to everyone who is reading this - please mask up especially going out to the public, bring hand sanitiser, keep a distance with everyone, and wash your hands in soap for at least 20 seconds from in between fingers to around your nails before rinsing it off with water. 😷🧼
There’s never been a better time to look for things to do - reinvest time in your long lost hobby, and learn some new skills or start a new project.
I know it seems like a weird time, it feels like we’re living in a ‘video game’ or something. We get to communicate with people but not meeting them in person, at least not so soon.
Well you know what? I think we're astronauts with gravity. 👨🏻🚀👩🏻🚀
Not being able to go out and explore the world for weeks or even months are definitely no fun. But it is such a small price to pay by staying in, being absolute healthy and feeling grateful of life. Know that we will get through this for sure, and we will better appreciate life and freedom!
How is everyone doing so far?
Malaysian government again extended MCO for another two weeks, till the 28th of April, 2020. It is a good thing in my opinion but I'm wondering how is everyone coping in this crisis so far. Is it stressful? Or have you started to get used to working from home?
Personally, there isn't much different for myself and what I'm doing but I find myself actually working harder than before and is more willing to learn new things than I already am. Pretty good I guess, but no doubt we all missed having normal human interaction with close friends like the old days
. Am I right?
Stay strong and keep on fighting guys! ✊
