The glass walk itself is relatively short. Cliff view is pretty decent too. This is an OK place but if you are short on time, you might as well give it a pass.
Songdo Cable Car and Taejongdae Resort Park could both be better (paid) alternatives.
We spent so little time there at Oryukdo Skywalk (오륙도 스카이워크) that we decided to take a bus here earlier to see what is there to do.
This is how early we were there and the cafe opens at 12PM, so we have roughly an hour to spare.
Walking through a morning market and saw this stall (흥부네만두찐빵) with baskets of steaming mandu. And without hesitation, we knew we've got to try it.
And FattyBonbon has never tried this, so naturally we have got to stop by a convenience store and get one with a can of beer!
With our mouth still on fire, we head back to the cafe hoping that they are open.
The interior space is thoughtfully decorated, small and seatings arrangement are sparse. Great and spacious for visitors but the downside is that they have very limited seatings available.
Their scones are a must order! Has a crispy outer layer, served with kiwi jam and clotted cream.
If you are a coffee drinker like myself, you may get letdown by the menu a little bit since they only offer a variation of tea drinks to choose from.
But not sure if we're so satisfied by the scones, that the drinks were actually pretty good.
This temple is a well known touristy spot and I didn't have a very good impression the first time I was here a year ago. Maybe the temple is not as grand as I'd expected and that it is rather too touristy for my liking.
No doubt looking out at the sea is pretty special. But I'm not here for the temple. Yep. This is just an exercise to prepare for what's coming up next!
Get your Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong fix here.
These! These are why I'm even here. LOL!
I'm not sure if this is the best one there is, but I'm surely pleased with what I had.
Some may say the addition of the seafood does nothing to the dish but I'm fine with the extra stuff. Excellent enough on its own without a need to order add-on.
Also saw some reviews that their Tangsuyuk (탕수육) is just average, plus we don't have the capacity to fill in anymore food, so we didn't order.
Fork out a little bit more for this very good dessert place.
First world problem alert. Tonight we can't decide whether to have coffee or dessert, so we came here to get them both at the same time.
Hooman always have room for dessert, is very true.
Different than the other toasts, but I love them all!
We didn't fill ourselves with a lot food today, so sharing a toast at the end of the night is just nice.
This shop and the toast are so underrated, they deserve a shoutout.
You get egg, you get bulgogi, you get mozzarella, you get pickles, you get cabbage, you get some sauces, plus blowtorch action - all wrapped up in a toasted bread and put in a cup with a stick for you to eat. What more could you ask for?
