Ask, if you want to keep your luggage somewhere safe and accessible. You may get lucky!
We're early and were fortunate enough to be able to leave our suitcases with our accommodator once we are in town. Otherwise I was planning to gung-ho around with the luggage until check in. Hahaha!
What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you landed in South Korea? Mine was breakfast toast, more specifically EGG DROP, the garlic one, aaaaaaaaand that's what we had!
Ever since I saw this new sandwich on the menu, I've wanted to put it on top of my food list and boy oh boy, it was yummylicious!
The toast spread with garlic butter on the outside is crispy, oily and fluffy at the same time. Plenty of scrambled egg inside, which is going to drip all over when you bite in too hard. And to top it all off, there are sweet mayo-like sauce, bacon and cheese!
We stop by one of the best cream coffee I've had from my last visit to Busan, the FM Coffee's Signature : Tomorrow (투모로).
A cup of cold brew coffee topped with slightly sweeten cream like many of the Korean cream coffee would but this is good ass coffee at a reasonable price.
Since it was still too early to enjoy Korean BBQ, it is a good time to do some look around Daiso, and do some window shopping in the mall.
Or do what we do, chill out at one of the many coffee shops around town.
Hungry yet? How about Korean Pork BBQ with Cheese?
Barbequed wet-aged pork, lay it on top of pan seared milk cheese, and drizzle with honey / maltose syrup?
Simply put, you need to come try for yourself.
Since we were really early, there wasn't anyone else dining. And the minimum order while we were there was two portions for one type of meat and another type we are allowed to order just a single portion.
Estimated average price per portion of 100g is 14,500 won ($12.18)
Good place for an evening stroll until sundown with wide selections of restaurants around the beach.
Set A
we ordered consist of four pieces of chunky Tteokbokki / Spicy Rice Cakes (떡볶이) in thick Gochujang sauce, two pieces of Fried Vegetable Mandu / Yachae Mandu (야채 만두), three slices of Fried Fish Cakes / Twigim Eomuk (튀김 어묵) and two pieces of Fried Squid / Ojingeo Twigim (오징어 튀김).
My advice is to order Set B
. You get everything the same, except for the fish cakes in soup, Soup Fish Cakes / Gukmul Eomuk (국물 어묵). A less oily and a more comforting option in my opinion.
